Nova Runda - Craft brewery
Nova Runda is a Croatian craft-beer brewery focused on bringing the real “hop” experience. As one of the first pioneers of craft beers in Croatia they have made a first Croatian crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo.
They style is somewhat unique, for that in mind they have brought their own designer Dabi who knows what they like, and has made theirs badges and posters.
Plan that we developed for this project included a new sitemap with more than 200 pages that could help client grow his organic online presence, thus saving on advertisements.
With large number of content comes challenge to edit it and present it to actual user in best possible way, that is why in beginning of project client had a full control of it to ensure its quality and input.
We made a redesign of the entire website, focusing on making it easier to navigate. Redesign was also adapted for tablet and mobile devices.
For easier and faster content management we implemented SilverStripe CMS, and equipped it with all kinds of goodies, like multi-language, responsive images and a various SEO thingies.
With designers help we’ve implemented couple of extra features like:
- On-scroll back-to-top animated beer glass
- Tap beer labels switcher
- Sticky navigation
- Easter-egg :) (try to find it!)

- Rich content embeds and canned content templates
- Advanced Content manipulation tools and automatisms
- SSL implementation

- FAQ engine with mutliple Layouts
- Locations engine with multiple Layouts
- Locations grouped by City
- Blog engine with multiple Layouts
All features comes nicely with latest version of SilverStripe 4 which has proven to be much more user-friendly and faster, and in the end easier for management.
With new site, users now are viewing more pages per visit (approximately 5.5 pages/per user) that is increase more than 110% compared to previous period.
Mobile traffic has also increased covering more than 56% of traffic (compared to 49% before).
Speed in these days of mobile usage matters, that is why we paid special care to performance, and according to statistic we did it.
Site performs 5 times faster compared to previous period.
Using Agile project methodology we’ve successfully completed project in defined time-frame with no expense to end-product quality. For us that’s a win.
